The Management Committee has approached a number of local organisations and have secured at least 10% of the overall yearly Project Costs.
The remaining costs will be secured by applying to a number of Grant Giving organisations. Each one will be asked to provide the remaining amount.
A small Funding Team has been established comprising of John Diaper, Carol Fitzpatrick and Paul Green, and each member is working on two funding applications and are aiming to submit the applications by the end of February.
Longer sustainability can be secured by being successful to a Grant Giving organisation, who will provide funding for a five year period. One such organisation is the Big Lottery’s Reaching Communities Programme.
