About Par Bay Community Trust

Par Bay Community Trust (PBCT) is a charitable company (Company number 09237669: Charity number 1163601) which aims to serve the community of St Blazey, Par and Tywardreath by preventing or relieving poverty, advancing the health of residents, developing the capacity and skills of economically or socially disadvantaged residents, advancing local education and assisting in the provision of recreational facilities.

The charity and its associated limited company were created to enable the purchase of the old Bonham’s building in Par with funding available from Par Bay Big Local, so that it could be turned into a community hub to benefit local residents and support start-up businesses.

The charity is managed by a board of Trustees comprised of local residents.
